SHOSHONI DRIVE

Design: 1844 sq. ft. one story, two bedroom, two bath, den, living room and kitchen with attached garage. This residence is owner designed and built.

Polysteel Type: 3600 series.

Ceiling Height: 9'4" with vault over living room.

Heat Source: Oil space heater and fire place.

Conditioned Space: 20,000 cubic feet.

Heating/Cooling Costs: $0.0375/cu.ft./year estimated -- about $750 at 01/07 fuel oil prices.

View from the garage to the living area. First-phase Polysteel is in place, braced and ready for concrete. A closer look at the alignment bracing. The door bucks were installed in two pieces to facilitate the concrete placement. Second-phase Polysteel in progress. The window and door bucks, alignment bracing, scaffolding, and safety rail are in place. Polysteel installation is complete. The garage connects to the living space at a 22 1/2 degree angle. Finished product. The exterior finish is a fiber-cement lap siding with fiber-cement shingles in the gables. The roof is standing-seam metal.

DEERFORD LANE

Design: 2700 sq. ft. 1 1/2 story, 3 bedroom, 3 bath, living room, den and kitchen with garage in walk-out basement. This home is an octagon design.

Polysteel Type: basement - 3800 series,
main floor - 3600 series

Ceiling Height: 9'4"

Heat Source: hydronic radiant floor heated with an oil water heater

Conditioned Space: 26,000 cu. ft.

Heating/Cooling Costs: N/A

Polysteel installation for the walk-out basement. 45 degree molded corners made layout and istallation simple. Alignment bracing for the basement. This wall transitions from 3800 to 3600 series Polysteel at the top course. The main floor framing is in place and second story Polysteel is installed, braced and ready for concrete placement. This residence has a great view of the Cascade Mountains across Agency Lake. Finished product. The exterior finish is fiber-cement shingles and the roof is standing-seam metal.

CHILOQUIN CIVIC CENTER

Design: 12,000 sq. ft commercial building providing facilities for a public library, two public meeting rooms, an art gallery with class rooms, and two government offices.

Polysteel Type: 3800 series

Ceiling Height: 12 ft with vaulted ceilings over the main entrance, library and gallery

Heat Source: Hydronic radiant floor heated with a geothermal heat pump.

Conditioned Space: 180,000 cu. ft.

Heating/Cooling Costs: $0.027/cu. ft./year actual cost for 2005 - less than $5000

First phase of Polysteel installation and concrete placement complete. The door and window bucks are built and ready to be put in place. Polysteel at 12 ft. with window and door bucks and concrete in place. Main Entrance. Polysteel gable is almost complete. Polysteel gables are complete and concrete has been placed. Gables were installed after the trusses so the pitch could be matched exactly. Finished product. The exterior finish is MDF panels and the roof is 3-tab composit shingles.

EAGLE CLAW LANE

Design: 1400 sq. ft. 1 1/2 story 2 bedroom, 2 bath, living room and kitchen with sun room. This residence is off the grid and designed for solar heating and power.

Polysteel Type: 3600 and 3800 series

Ceiling Height: 8' to 18' with vaulted ceilings

Heat Source: Hydronic radiant floor heated by active solar array with on-demand propane water heater backup.

Conditioned Space: 20,000 cu. ft.

Heating/Cooling Costs: $0.0015/cu. ft./year actual cost for 2006 - less than $30 per year

Polysteel foundation wall and backfill for concrete floor complete. What a view! First story Polysteel almost finished. Two more courses to go. Second story Polysteel up and roof on. The left end of the house has a two-story ceiling. Polysteel transitions from 3600 to 3800 series block in that area. Residence has a light frame sun room attached as part of the passive solar design. Finished product. The exterior finish is fiber-cement lap siding and the roof is standing-seam metal.

BALSAM DRIVE

Design: 1000 sq. ft., 1 story, 3 bedroom, 1 bath with great room for living, kitchen and dining. This home was designed and built by Klamath Basin Habitat for Humanity.

Polysteel Type: 3600 series

Ceiling Height: 8 ft.

Heat Source: forced air natural gas furnace

Conditioned Space: 8200 cu. ft.

Heating/Cooling Costs: $0.03/cu. ft./year estimated cost. Less than $250 per year.

First phase Polysteel. Habitat volunteers place panelized Polysteel around floor framing. Phase one Polysteel installed, cement placed and anchor bolts for the floor snugged up. Phase-two Polysteel installed, braced and ready for concrete placement. Exterior walls up, roof on, windows in. Waiting for doors and siding. Finished product. The exterior finish is MDF cottage lap siding and the roof is cement tiles.

NORTH MALIN ROAD

Design: 2500 sq. ft. 3 bedroom, 2 bath with great room for living room, kitchen and dining room. This home is a remodel of a 40s era farm house.

Polysteel Type: 3600 series

Ceiling Height: 8' with vault over the great room.

Heat Source: Oil space heater.

Conditioned Space: 22,000 cubic ft.

Design: 3850 sq. ft. 3 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath with family room in the walk-out basement. The project is owner designed and built.
